Installation Debian 8.4 fails

Hi there,

I am trying to install homegear on debian 8 using the official installation instructions. However, the installation fails while running

apt-get install homegear. The last few lines are:

Downloading device description files... --2016-05-13 21:15:19 -- http://www.eq-3.de/Downloads/Software/HM-CCU2-Firmware_Updates/HM-CCU2-2.11.6/HM-CCU-2.11.6.tar.gz Resolving... Connecting ... HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found 2015-05-14 21:15:19 ERROR 404: Not Found

When I try to download the file manually, I also receive a 404. What can I do to resolve this?

Hi,

if I remeber right tehre is a new firmware and the instalaltion package does currently not support it it. On debain the right choice is maybe to use the nightly versions. Just wait for the weekend and download the newest version after Sathya has updated the packages
