HM-CFG-USB-2 and wireless button?

Hi,

I’ve got hmland, homegear and openHAB up and running: I can use window contacts to alert when someone breaks into the house.

I can also turn a wireless socket on and off using the openHAB app.

BUT this ist terribly slow and it’s not a good idea to use the smartphone every time you’d like to switch it on and off.

Can I use a wireless button like the HM-RC-4-2 in my setup to turn the wireles socket on and off?

Hey,

yes you can. For example by creating an event using the RPC method “addEvent” or by directly linking the two together.
