[solved] No pairing of devices using LAN gateway

Hello,

I just started into the world of home automatisation using Homematic. I successfully configured homegear to connect to the Lan Gateway (HM-LGW-O-TW-W-EU). However, I cannot get any device paired with it (HM-WDS10-TH-0, HM-LC-Sw1-Pl). There are some debug outputs from homegear, but “peers list” doesn’t show any device.
I reseted the device before using (although they were brand new). Is it correct that I configured homegear with a roandom rfkey initally?

Find below the debug output. At 20:18:11.992 something is received after pressing the pair button.

Habe nun folgende Threads gefunden:

Habe nun auch versucht, das Gateway zu reseten. Hat aber nichts gebracht. Interessanterweise blinkt die LED nach 6 Sekunden reset langsam und beim nächsten 3 Sekunden reset schnell. Dies ist entgegen der Anleitung!?

It seems, there are no responses to the sent packets. This is a known problem. Just set “sendFix” in “/etc/homegear/families/homematicbidcos.conf” to “true”, then it should work. Also make sure, your devices are factory resetted.

Is it correct that I configured homegear with a roandom rfkey initally?

Hi

i also tried to move from my Homematic CCU to Homegear in order to allow an integration into openhab. Unfortunately, I seem to have the same or a similar problem as described here. I also have the LAN gateway. Everything worked ok on the CCU and I had also changed the RF AES key.

With homegear I started with the official 0.5.25 version. Connection to the LAN gateway worked, but I could not pair any devices. No error, but nothing in “ls”. Then I wanted to test the sendFix, but did not find the parameter. So I upgraded to the latest nightly 0.6.0-1279, where I did find it. However, now I get another error:

So, after many, many tries I now managed to get the remote control paired and working. However, no chance so far to pair the Keymatic

Maybe I move to the German forum (easier for me and maybe more feedback…)
